Move beyond survival mode and reconnect with yourself with sense of calm, confidence and resilience.

Evidenced-Based Trauma Informed Therapy for Nervous System Regulation for Women and other adults

‍ ‍

You are in the right place if you

  • Feel overwhelmed, in edge and can not turn your brain off of things

  • Feel like failing at everything

  • Care for everyone else while quietly struggling with sadness, anxiety; leading to resentment and burnout

  • Notice unpleasant physical sensations: tightness, heaviness, or restlessness when it becomes too much

  • Have lost touch with parts of yourself, your sense of ease or the joy you once felt

  • Notice your own upbringing or attachment patterns are surfacing as you navigate parenting your child(ren)

  • Want tools that actually help in the moment; not just insight

If this resonates with you; it does not mean there is something wrong with you.

It often means your nervous system has been carrying more than it was meant to, for a very long time.

Therapy can be a space where you don’t have to hold it all together.

Hi, I’m Minali Sharma, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland, Connecticut, Vermont and soon to be in Virginia.

I’m drawn to this work both through my own lived experiences and through witnessing how deeply important it is to have a space where you don’t have to hold everything together on your own. I believe healing happens in spaces that feel safe, attuned, and genuinely human where you can show up as you are, without pressure or judgment or pretending to be okay.

I work primarily with women and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside (they perform really well; take care of everyone , but internally carry a lot (they feel exhausted and empty) often struggle alone.

My approach is grounded in both clinical training and a deep respect for the body’s natural wisdom. Many clients come in unsure of where to start, and I want you to know it is completely normal. It is also common to feel nervous or uncomfortable when meeting a new person and sharing struggles that have been held inside for a long time. You don’t need the right words or to have everything figured out when you begin this process. you just need to show up as you are.

At our core, we all long to feel seen, understood, and accepted. I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can explore your experiences without judgment but with compassion and curiosity.

What its like to work with me

Therapy with me isn't about adding another task to your to-do list or trying to "fix" yourself. And it certainly isn't about forcing yourself to "just get over it."

Instead, think of our sessions as a soft landing; a space where you can slow down, exhale and set down what you've been carrying. A place where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.

Our work is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you, helping you feel more grounded, make sense of what's been difficult to put into words and create the safety your nervous system needs for lasting change.

My role isn't to tell you who to be. It's to walk alongside you with compassion, helping you reconnect with yourself and move through life with greater clarity, confidence and ease.

There is a way forward that doesn’t require you to keep pushing through!
